About Sky Tire Service
Used tire
Located at 37586 Van Dyke Ave, Sterling Heights, MI 48312, Sky Tire Service operates as an used tire shop serving Sterling Heights in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–5:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Sky Tire Service at (586) 275-2086; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, skytireplus.com.

I made the mistake of sending my kid in there to get me a tire ... Now the service was great, however we went there for a good used tire , not a bad used tire... It's been less than 48 hours an I come outside to a tire with about 15 lbs of air..

I had an emergency leak in my tire right before closing time, and Kam went above and beyond to help me out. Even though they didn’t have the exact tire I needed in stock, he took the time to plug my tire free of charge so I could safely get home. That level of kindness and customer service is rare these days. Kam was professional, honest, and genuinely caring. The shop had a welcoming atmosphere, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing tire service or repairs. They truly care about helping people, not just making a sale.

I had a great experience here today where they were able to patch one of my tires for minimal cost and super quick service during my lunch break. Belle tire had tried to get me to replace the whole tire for $280.. Sky Tire told me that was not necessary and did not try to upsell me which I really appreciate! Thank you guys for your great service, I would recommend this place to others!

I had a fantastic experience at this shop today. My tire had blown out, and since I didn't have any tools with me, I asked to borrow theirs. The prices were affordable, and the owner was very kind. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your trust; I will definitely recommend this shop to any friends who might need your services.

They have good prices and work fast but beware. They put a set of brand new tires on my vehicle and 3 months later those tires are shredded and need to be replaced due to the alignment done by this shop. Brand new tires going bald after 3 months will never be normal or okay. When trying to get ahold of the shop, not only were they difficult to get on the line but did not offer the help and support I was looking to receive from someone who has given them business several times in the last year. Find a loyal mechanic who puts clients first
